In today's fast-paced world, where children are constantly surrounded by screens and instant information, the ability to slow down, observe carefully and connect with the natural world has become more valuable than ever.
Art education offers children something much deeper than learning how to draw. It teaches them to pay attention, ask questions, notice details and discover beauty in places that often go unnoticed. These are skills that support not only artistic development, but also curiosity, concentration, critical thinking and lifelong learning.

Led by professional artist, illustrator and educator Cris Delara, with more than 28 years of experience in the art industry, our Children's Art Classes offer a unique introduction to the academic foundations of drawing and painting through the fascinating world of Natural History Illustration.
More than a creative activity, this program is an introduction to Artistic Literacy, helping children learn how to observe, understand and communicate through visual language. Every lesson is thoughtfully adapted to each age group, making artistic learning engaging, meaningful and accessible.
Plants, flowers, leaves, birds, insects and other elements of nature become living subjects for exploration and discovery. Through careful observation, children learn the principles of drawing, painting, colour, composition and visual perception while developing fine motor skills, patience, confidence and creative thinking.

Inspired by the tradition of Natural History Illustration, the program also encourages environmental awareness and a genuine appreciation for the natural world. As children discover the beauty, complexity and diversity of flora and fauna, they develop respect for nature and a deeper understanding of their place within it.
More than teaching children how to create beautiful artwork, this program nurtures thoughtful observers, creative minds and lifelong learners who appreciate both Art and Nature.
