Many families are not aware that there are funding options that may help cover therapy services for children in Ontario.
These programs may support services such as:
• Speech Therapy
• Occupational Therapy
• Behavioural Therapy (ABA)
• Psychological Services
Ontario Autism Program (OAP)
Provides funding for children and youth diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Families receive direct funding and can choose their therapy providers.

Private Health Insurance
Many extended health insurance plans reimburse therapy services when provided by registered professionals such as Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychotherapists or Social Workers.
